Hi Kim and thank you likewise! Yep, I’m another one for the swapping and thrift shopping way of doing things – it’s addictive and the things you find this way become really unique, treasured items. I hardly ever buy anything new – there is no need to. It’s so much better than throwaway sweatshop consumerism

Hi Robin! It was great fun, and such a good idea too! And the thing is you can do this on a small informal scale too and if anything it’s even better. A friend of mine regularly opens up her basement, which is lined with clothes rails, and a bunch of us take our unwanted clothes there to swap them. Any that are not immediately snapped up are stored until the next time. It’s really good fun and we’ve all found some lovely things

Hey there, thanks for stopping by my blog! I have to agree with Rainforestrobin’s comment, I’d be there too! All of my clothes and 90% of the stuff in my home is recycled or used! Awesome idea!

What an absolutely fun idea and event. If I were there I would go to this in a heartbeat. I LOVE things like this. AND what a great way to recycle clothing. We waste so much in America, it’s alarming.
