Q/ Do you sell wholesale?
A/ No, I'm afraid I don't. My work is all unique or extremely limited edition, due to my working methods and how I source my materials I can't produce large runs of any of my stock. If your store would be happy to accept very small runs it may be worth contacting me about it.
Q/ Where else can I buy your work?
A/ Currently I have a couple of pieces for sale at Liquorice-Allosaurs Handmade Delights and I'm also selling on Etsy and Mintd, but apart from that, this is the only place that you can buy my work.
Q/ Do you have an ethical or environmental policy?
A/ Oooh, that's an easy one! Click here to read all about it
Q/ What's the best way to look after my jewellery?
A/ For a comprehensive answer, go to our Jewellery Care page
Q/ Will you make me a custom piece? How much will that cost?
A/ I'm quite a busy bee so I can't always fulfil custom requests, but it's always worth asking! Price will depend on the time it will take to make plus difficulty and expense of obtaining materials. If it's going to be a challenge to make, expect to see that reflected in the price too.
Q/ I'd like to pay by cheque or postal order. Who shall I make it payable to, and where do I send it ?
A/ After you have made your order you will receive an email that will have all the details you need. This is seperate from the order confirmation email and will arrive a little time after it.
Q/ How can I contact you?
A/ Click Here to send me a message. If you have a problem or enquiry, don't forget to leave as much information as possible.
Q/ I tried to contact you, but you didn't reply. Why not?
A/ I probably did reply! Did you look in your spam folder? Sometimes shop emails get mistaken for spam and get caught by your spam filter. Make sure your spam filter recognises our shop emails and doesn't trash them! Also, The Birds In The Meadow is a one woman show. I am not online 24/7, and so I am unlikely to be able to respond to your enquiries instantly. I do try to reply within one working day of receiving mail.
Q/ You say you like to work with all recycled materials - what about ear wires and things like that?
A/ I will NEVER use old, recycled or second hand earwires, for obvious health and hygiene reasons. If I've sourced a gorgeous vintage chain and incorporated it into a design I'll let you know in individual product descriptions.
Q/ I'm an ethical business and I'd like to do a link swap, will you swap links with me?
A/ Get in contact, send me a link to your shop and if we are a good fit, I'd love to link with you!
